Hi, I'm Syuan Yun,
a graphic designer and social designer from Taiwan.
I'm a cross-disciplinary designer with a strong background in graphic design, social design, and design facilitation
With 2+ years of experience in graphic design, design research, and participatory design, I have completed successful projects, conducted user research, and co-design techniques, and taught as a lecturer both domestically and abroad.

Cross-disciplinary and Intercultural Design Learning Experience
I learned a solid ability of visual communication design in Taiwan and approached it with design thinking and user research into interaction and social design projects in Denmark. During these times, I developed the ability to observe and be empathetic under different cultures, which enabled me to adjust the design approach and the way of collaboration quickly, thus creating the localizing design with profound understanding.
Throughout my second Master's degree in Denmark, I've taken design thinking, user-centered design, empathy design, critical design, and social design projects. I teamed up with designers with distinct professions and collaborated with various users and organizations.
Having played both researcher and designer roles in the projects, I've used user and field research, co-creation, and storytelling to tackle various realms and stakeholders in practical projects. I found the multi-disciplinary and intercultural learning experience allows me to embrace more diversity and possibilities, which is my biggest treasure as a designer who values people.

I'm also a Multimedia Artist!
I'm also a multimedia artist who has experience in mural painting, concert stage visual design, and photo art direction. Most of my works are about feminine and body liberation. Recently, I start writing and sharing my story in my Chinese blog and exploring more media and tools for creation.

Currently, I'm looking for new opportunities, including design cases and collaboration. I am open to fun side projects as well.
Please don't hesitate to reach out— I'm happy to chat about work or play!
